To undertake endeavors in the fields of gem science namely; laboratory services, education, research, ethical trade, and consultancy with following objectives in view:

To impart quality knowledge to people connected with gems and jewelry in different ways, in accordance with their needs and goals
To provide laboratory services wherein precision matches with impartiality and integrity
To offer gemstones and gem materials to jewelers, and consumers after carrying out the necessary quality checks and disclosures, where warranted
To arrange workshops and seminars for updating knowledge and skill
To set standards fully acceptable at international level
To co-operate with educational and other institutions in any part of the world, having objectives wholly or partly similar to objectives of ACGS (Asiatic Center of Gemological Services).
