Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (FGA) is one of the most coveted and sought after qualifications throughout Europe, Asia, and several other parts of the world. This title can be awarded to a person who has completed the requirements and passed the prescribed examinations of the Association, now popularly known as Gem-A (previously known as GAGTL). With headquarters in London, it is also the world’s longest established teaching gemmological organization. The first class was conducted in 1913.
